Consumenta is southern Germany's biggest consumer fair, held annually at NürnbergMesse across nine days at the end of October and into November. Food, lifestyle, crafts, wellness, and leisure -- hundreds of thousands of visitors walk through across the run of the fair. The atmosphere is different from a trade fair: looser, more spontaneous, more social.

What happens at Consumenta 2026

Consumenta is a consumer event, not a B2B fair. The people walking through your stand are regional end consumers and retail buyers -- they respond to experience, taste, and authenticity, not specification sheets. Content produced here should feel real and warm rather than produced and polished. The fair runs nine days, which means you have multiple opportunities to capture different moments if you plan the production around the programme.
